Your commentary and help was always appreciated man. Otherwise all the modelers here would just be hashing out the same looking units lol. It's good you have a different vision for the Hybrids though. I don't remember much but there was a disagreement on the buildings being Xel'Naga if I'm not mistaken.

You guys are more than welcome to go through the mod and pick out what you want if anything fits your SoulFilcher: Go Like I said it's just my opinion but I want the projects I work on to honor the yukaboy: GoĪh yes I remember following the thread you guys had when it first started. To get that same classic feel I had in the original games everything must go as far as SC2. That's why I started from the ground up on my classic mod. It was my way of fixing things in SC2 to be closer to the original style, but LoTV made it impossible. That's one of the reasons I abandoned this project. They even said the Xel'Naga arc and design of what it would look like was never worked on until they started doing LoTV. SC1 and BW did not point towards what happened with the Hybrid and Xel'Naga. It's just my opinion, but I feel like he doesn't fit in StarCraft. We have some open slots for the team and have a discord set up, almost. This will feature all of the cast from the original game and the plan is to keep them consistent with Brood War, e.g., Raynor's out for blood and Kerrigan is still devious and well, rude. Obviously there's no specific way to know what they planned for certain events and characters but we'll try nonetheless. I imagine it as a "what if Blizzard made SC2 right after BW?" scenario. The plan is to follow up on the events, characters and locations directly from the end of Brood War, instead of wiping the slate clean like I feel SC2 did. I've remade most of the units and buildings and have decided to set up a team to help me actually turn this into a campaign. For a while I've been working on a follow-up to Brood War using the SC2 engine and assets.
